On another sunny and flat calm day, we were delighted to find a small group of common dolphins right outside the harbor. Further offshore in the shipping lanes, a much bigger pod consisting of ~1,000 individuals was watched. They were tightly packed in a large pod that left a trail of commotion on the surface of the sea... it was an incredible sight to see!
On the way home we found 2 juvenile humpbacks and spent time with them along our favorite 50 fathom line. Tail flukes were given by both whales and we saw one of them do a small sideways surface lunge feed in the distance.
Until next time,
The SBWW Crew
