Seas were flat and skies were overcast. The big group of whales we saw yesterday has moved around a bit and we weren't able to locate them today. That being said, we still had an awesome day at sea!
We pulled up on 3 whales in close proximity to one another. A pair of young juveniles began feeding at the surface with mouths wide open. We watched closely as they displayed their beautiful baleen, a characteristic of the Rorqual family of whales. Common dolphins were in the area too. As we sped around looking for more whales, a group of offshore bottlenose caught our attention and we enjoyed their presence in beautifully glassy seas.
Until Next Time,
The SBWW Crew
