Two trips left the dock on this beautiful fall day in Santa Barbara! Each with equally epic sightings. The conditions were perfect as we explored the channel and whales were everywhere. Pairs, trios, singles, and a comp group were dotted as far as the eye could see. Tail flukes and trumpet blows were everywhere. Some notable sightings included a large stampede of over 1,000 common dolphins as well as a pair of friendly whales. The pair started out logging for about 5 minutes before slowly drifting over to say hello! We ended the day with a gorgeous sunset and a nice tail-fluking whale.
Until Next Time,
The SBWW Crew
