2 Southbound Gray Whales

Writer's picture: Santa Barbara Whale WatchSanta Barbara Whale Watch

A beautiful day in the channel let us explore the vast expanse of ocean blue. Things were quiet during the first half of the trip until we came across a pair of gray whales. Tucked along the coast, the pair was surprisingly headed south! Most of the whales we've seen lately are headed north back to their feeding grounds but this pair of adults was apparently a little late to the party!

Until Next Time,
